Join Anna Rychner, an initiate of S. S. Rama and yoga teacher of the Himalayan tradition since 1973, for a 4 week Zoom session of the Joint and Gland Exercises.
Anna is a Registered Nurse and ERYT 500 who has focused on Gentle and Chair Yoga. She’s worked in a variety of health care settings, including Sarah Chudnow Senior Living Center in Mequon for the past 7 years.
These gentle exercises were introduced by S. Rama for students of all ages as preliminary practices to yoga and meditation. The series will include breathing, facial massage, eye exercises and seated stretches for neck and shoulders, wrists, ankles, hips and legs, as well as chair variations of the mountain stretch, spinal twist and cobra. Each session will be followed by a seated relaxation to enhance recovery from stress and trauma related injuries.
