How do you live a good life?
How do you meditate “off the cushion”?
What are we supposed to do here, anyway?
The practice of the Yamas (Restrictions) and Niyamas (Observances), found in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, is the foundation of yoga sadhana (practice). These are not The Ten Commandments, but rather guideposts saying, “If you want to get there, you might want to go this way. Up to you, it’s your path. But some people have found this way to work pretty well.” “There” being: enlightenment, or contentment, or flowing with whatever life brings.
Frank, JuLee and Sue will moderate weekly discussions around each of the five Yamas and five Niyamas. We envision this Zoom gathering to be a circle of folks who have their toes pointed in the same direction; who are looking to listen and share, and support one another along the path. Join us when you can. Donate if you can.
