5 weeks via Zoom
Mondays, February 20 to March 20
10:00 – 11:30 am
Join us for a gentle practice of simple and enjoyable movements to limber, lengthen, strengthen and relax from head to toe in preparation for meditation.
We will begin with guided breathing and relaxation/centering practices. We will explore easy and interesting ways to observe the sensations of life energy/prana flow throughout the practice. Ideas for supporting our access to prana throughout the day will be shared.
An enjoyable relaxation and concentration sequence such as the 31 or 61 point practice will provide a segue to a guided meditation.
Each week we will look at important ways in which the body, breath and mind play key roles in our wellbeing. We will explore themes such as: You are the Architect of Your Life; Light, Joy and Laughter; Innate Resilience; Role of Mantra in Daily Life; and Joyful Mind.
All levels of experience are welcomed. You are invited to participate within your comfortable capacity. After each class a link for a class video is mailed to students to view/review the class for a week.
Join us for class on zoom at 10 am whenever you can. Student interaction is appreciated and valued.
