Bhūtaśuddhi (Past Purification)
Saturday, December 9
Bhūtaśuddhi is often referred to as a practice for purification of the elements. Swami Rama, however, translated bhūtaśuddhi as “past purification”. The vibrations associated with earth, water, fire, and air as well as the remaining energies of our impressions in the mind (saṃskāras) create imbalances from our history that we can work with through the practice of bhūtaśuddhi. It will be helpful if students taking this workshop have attended the previous three workshops on the cakras and/or studied the book “Practical Samaya Tantra” prior to attending this workshop.
