Named as “100 Milwaukeeans You Need to Know”, Ragani has been in the world of yoga since the age of 8, when she met the legendary yoga master, Swami Rama, former Shankaracharya of India, who personally trained her in yogic sciences, meditation and Eastern music. Ragani’s award-winning music has touched the hearts of the world for over 35 years- her latest releases are “Light of Savitri” and “Bring Me Home”. Featured in numerous publications, including Recording Magazine and Yoga: Mastering the Basics, she’s also written music for film & tv (The Oprah Winfrey Show, etc.). With a doctorate in psychology, she works as a transformational consultant and an acupuncturist, and she is known for her wit and down-to-earth style, through which she gracefully shares the timeless wisdom of her Himalayan lineage with her music, her teachings, and her healing practices.
